Animoog for iPhone 1.1.5 Released

Moog released yesterday an update to Animoog for iPhone, now at version 1.1.5. As far as I can tell, it’s essentially a bug fix, with the official release notes being:

  • Audiobus support
  • Splash screen now properly displayed

This update comes less than 3 weeks after the 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 updates. While users on the official Moog forum indicates not all known bugs have been fixed, color me happy to see frequent updates to our beloved Animoog app.

  1. I’m having a hard time getting the Adventurekid timbres to show up, is there an instructional?

    1. Hi Jared,

Installing third-party timbres used to work fine. However, on the official Moog forum, there are several users reporting issues with timbres (even the official ones included in expansion packs) in the last versions of Animoog (both iPhone and iPad versions) released since September.

I admit I have myself tons of timbres (and obviously presets) that stopped playing fine with the latest Animoog versions. Moog is aware of the problem and I can only hope that a future bugfix release will make timbres & presets working properly once again.

If you installed the AdventureKid timbres with i-funbox or else, you should still be able to see them from within Animoog. If you don’t hear anything, it’s probably because of the issue I mentioned above.

Hope this helps and have fun Jared — Alex aka Satri
